Exocad tip 3 - Optimizing screw channel

When designing a bridge in Exocad, it often happens that an implant is positioned between two elements. This can cause issues when finalizing the bridge. Exocad then has difficulty cutting the screw hole out of the bridge because the connectors are also positioned there.

However, this is easy to resolve. We will discuss step-by-step how to solve this problem.

The solution to this problem is quite simple. Once you have finished the setup and placed the connectors, you can go to "Expert mode". Then, right-click and select "Generate virtual waxup scan".

Exocad has now ensured that the teeth and connectors are linked together as a single unit.

If you then go to "Merge and Save Restoration", you will see that the screw channel has now been properly cut out of the bridge.
