Exocad tip 2 - Multi-View Design

In this tip, we discuss the 'Multi-view design' principle for placing connectors between bridge elements.

We often notice that placing connectors is not equally easy for everyone, but at the same time, this is a very important design process. In this document, we explain step by step how to approach this in the best way.

When placing connectors, you have the opportunity to do this using 'Multi-view design'. This can be done by clicking on 'Multi-view design' in the step 'placing connectors.'

You will then see the following screen. In this case, you will first adjust the connector between element 24 and 23. As you can see on the right side of your screen, you can now easily adjust the points of the connectors to how you want them to be connected. You do this by grabbing and dragging the points.

We will first adjust the top screen, which is the connector that will be attached to element 24. By holding the right mouse button, you can move the screen where we see element 24. You can also add additional points by pressing 'CTRL + Left mouse button' on the blue line.

If you are satisfied with the result, you can now do the same with the neighboring element 23 (bottom screen).

Next, we will adjust the connector in the middle section, between the two elements.
